Accenture's Liv Carroll says sharing information makes many miners uncomfortable
Miners must successfully combine soft skills with traditional mining disciplines, according to Accenture's mining lead in charge of applied intelligence, Liv Carroll.
"The collaborative piece is critical," she told Mining Journal. "That speaks to the culture piece. Culture varies by stakeholder category, it will vary by geography, it will vary by size of mining company. It will also vary by history and the legacy a particular project or company has with a particular region or government or particular group of stakeholders.
"We need to address the cultural change requirements, while allowing for those cultural nuances."
